Environmental Protection Agency administrator Lee Zeldin Fox News Digital learned that since its opening in 2024, visitors have hardly seen the Biden-era EPA museum.
Zeldin announced Monday afternoon that the National Environmental Museum and Education Center opened last year Biden gives medicinewhich will cause millions of dollars to be built and subsequently attract a small number of tourists, will be closed.
“This museum, which is hardly visited, costs up to $4 million in taxpayer dollars to build, operating more than $600,000 a year,” the EPA said in a comment to Fox News digital numbers on Monday. “Within May 2, 2024, it has fewer than 2,000 outside visitors, while the museum is free, but costs nearly $315 per taxpayer.”
The EPA Museum opened in May 2024 in the William Jefferson Clinton federal building, home to the EPA headquarters, just blocks from the White House. A smaller EPA exhibition is displayed in a neighboring federal building before the construction and opening of the National Environmental Museum and Education Center in 2024.

“From the Love Canal and the EPA establishment over 50 years ago to the historical funding of our investment in the U.S. Agenda, our new museum chronicles the work of our nation to protect public health and the environment, a movement that has gone beyond the political and geographical divide,” Biden-Epa Michael S.
He continued: “Our collaboration with state, local and tribal partners has changed people’s lives, it has restored our connection to the environment and the planet, and it will ensure that future generations will continue to have clean air, breathe, safe water and clean land to live, work and play a role.”
Zeldin’s EPA said the museum did not focus on bipartisan achievements and worked to protect American health and environment, but instead “the Biden administration chose to curate the museum with a huge scope of recognition between 2014 and January 20, 2021.”

“The work of the Democratic administration is also more prioritized than the Republican administration,” an EPA spokesman said of the museum. “Biden’s EPA favors the inclusion of a range of ‘environmental justice’ and Climate change Satisfied with radical left-wing fear strategies, rather than focusing on the work of EPA providing Americans with clean air, land and water every day. ”
An estimated breakdown of estimated annual expenses offered to Fox Digital’s museums shows that taxpayers are expected to pay their bills: $123,766.29 annual cleaning and landscaping costs, $37,899 per year for audio and visual maintenance, $54,292.99 per year for “Artifact” $8,900, $54,292.99, $54,292.900 per year for $8,900. “Sadly, promoting special Interest climate activities In the Biden administration, the EPA’s logo is an incredible bureaucracy, and the museum is an unfortunate result of such a policy. Administrator Zeldin shut down it to protect taxpayers, helps the EPA return to its statutory task of protecting the environment, and abandons past dysfunction and bureaucratic self-improvement,” Law continued.
