Hernandez’s body was found about 70 miles from his home. According to Ktla In Los Angeles, the family called Hernandez on the weekend, but his phone was answered by the coach who said Hernandez’s hands were covered in paint and he was unable to answer the phone.

Now, the coach is considered an interested person in the case and is reportedly questioned.

The coach was not considered a suspect and was not released because police have not publicly confirmed that he was the same person’s question of the teen’s death.
