A woman was shot by a pair of gunmen in the studio city on Friday night.
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesman confirmed Saturday that the shooting occurred around a residential area near the 3900 block of Kentucky Avenue. The 39-year-old victim had just parked her car and fled the vehicle before two unidentified gunmen walked up and shot her multiple times.
The healthcare workers took the woman to the hospital where she was listed as stable. A LAPD spokesman did not confirm how many times the woman was shot or that the bullet hit her.
The spokesman said the situation of the shootings around was unclear and it was unclear whether the incident was related to the gang. No further information was provided immediately.
