The letter was obtained by Fox News Digital, written by President Trump and congratulates new citizens, while reminding recipients that they are swearing “to build a sacred bond with our country, her traditions, history, her history, culture and values.”
“The United States has always welcomed those who embrace our values, absorb our society, and promised to be loyal to our country,” Trump wrote in his letter. “Now, this legacy of prosperity is your protection, promotion and delivery to the next generation of your history. Now, our history is your history. Our customs are your customs now. Our Constitution Now is your maintenance, honor and respect. ”

“Now, America is your home, you are part of a country under God’s rule,” Trump added. “You have promised the United States that your heart – in return, she has offered unlimited promise of freedom and opportunity.”
The Department of Homeland Security and Trump himself have maintained an immigration policy stance, consistent with the 47th President’s campaign commitment to deport illegal immigrants entering the country Biden gives medicinewhile legally promoting migration to the United States.
“I’m very good with legal immigration,” Trump said at his first press conference in his second term. “We need people, and I absolutely can-we want to have it.”

“U.S. citizenship is a sacred trust and should never be treated like this,” Tricia McLaughlin, assistant secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, told Fox News Digital in a statement. “Being an American citizen is committed to upholding our values, culture, and constitution.”
“We are doing everything we can to ensure that anyone with the privilege to become a U.S. citizen fulfills their obligations to the new country,” McLaughlin added.

Sources also told Fox that USCIS overhauled the citizenship test to ensure applicants meet high standards for becoming citizens.
President Trump’s letter will be sent to all new citizens starting Wednesday, marking the day the Constitution was signed in Philadelphia in 1787.
“We praise your dedication to our country, our people, our history and the great story of America,” President Trump wrote. “Our country cannot be achieved as long as the American people continue to love our country and uphold our values. Our communities will thrive. Our people will thrive.”
