President Donald Trump ends mourning the death of conservative activists this week Charlie KirkAnd respect those who were lost in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Kirk, 31, was assassinated Wednesday in the “American Comeback Tour” at Utah. After two assassinations attempted to assassinate Trump, his death was one year.
“For my Americans, I’m filled with sadness and anger at Charlie Kirk’s outrageous assassination,” Trump said in a video address on Wednesday.

“Charlie inspired millions, tonight, all who knew him and loved him were shocked and feared,” Trump said. “Charlie was a patriot who devoted his life to the cause of open debate, and the country he loved so much, the United States of America. He fought for freedom, democracy, justice and the American people. He was a martyr of truth and freedom, and never a man who was so respected by youth.”
trump card In an interview with Fox and Friends, said On Friday, in connection with Kirk’s assassination, Utah officials identified the suspect as Tyler Robinson, 22.
“I hope he will be convicted. I hope he can be sentenced to death,” Trump said Friday. “What he did, Charlie Kirk is the best person he doesn’t deserve.

Trump also marks the 24th anniversary of the Pentagon and New York City 9/11 terrorist attacks. Trump visited the Pentagon Thursday morning with First Lady Melania Trump to remember the lives of 2,977 people in the attack.
“This morning, we recall the best of America, the brave light and the love they showed in the last moments,” Trump said.

Trump traveled to New York late Thursday. Visited Yankee Home ClubBefore sitting in the suite on the third base side with Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner and President Randy Levine. The song of “America” erupts before and after the national anthem in the game.
Trump has not participated in baseball since the 2021 World Series.
