A woman stabbed in a fight in West Hollywood in the early hours of Sunday morning is in critical condition.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said it received a call about a fight involving a “multiple” between the Santa Monica Boulevard and Robertson Boulevard, with some of the popular bars located around 3 a.m.
According to Jacob Sivley, when deputies responded to the phone, they found a woman in her 20s who had suffered a severe stab wound to the upper body.
Siffley said she was treated by medical staff from Los Angeles County Fire Department and then taken to a local hospital where she remained in critical condition.
Siffley said the department had no information about the suspect’s release.
“Due to the severity of the attack,” Siffley said, homicide investigators were notified of the incident at about 8 a.m. and are dealing with the investigation.
