Minnesota Governor Tim Walz When asked who his party’s leader is now, it seems to be struggling.
While discussing President Donald Trump’s joint speech to Congress, CNN host Kasie Hunt asked former vice presidential candidates about the status of the Democratic Party.
“Who do you think the Democratic leader is now?” asked the “Arena” host.
“I think the voting public is what I want to say now,” Walz replied with a smile. “And I’ve been telling that. We won’t have a charismatic leader here and save us.”

He added: “I’m going to say that the Tea Party came out of the ACA, well, where is that charismatic leader? It’s John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, and there’s a bunch of angry people in the town hall with members of Congress like me answering questions like me.
“So, when people look around, ‘leaders or somewhere else,’ they will strengthen organically. I’m saying, our job is [as] People who do have the ability to make things, we are surely the best to do that, and we better be there to stand by them. That’s what we need to do. ”
