Voice of America employees filed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump’s administration and Lake Carrie on Thursday after Trump ordered the agency to be demolished earlier this month.

“In many parts of the world, key sources of objective news have disappeared and only state-sponsored news media can fill the gap,” VOA employees said in the lawsuit.
