A public high school in Fairfax County, Virginia, decorates its historic corridor with polarized letter displays from Women’s History Month, beginning with “A IS for Abortion.”
West Springfield High School displays each letter in the corridor, representing an important aspect of women’s history that school officials consider. The school tells Fox News’ Laura Ingraham “To My ABC” Showcase is a student-led history project and is part of the elective women’s history class. ”
The “A IS for Abortion” section of the display has coat hangers and images of positive pregnancy tests, as well as descriptions of the project, Report first Through daily signals.

According to the project description, the show is for Women’s History Month, a Women’s History Class “celebrating and realizing what it means to be a young woman today at West Springfield High School and the world.”

For the display of “J for Justice”, students were shown the Statue of Liberty holding the female logo instead of the torch, surrounded by trans, Ukrainian and Palestinian flags.
Notable female Democratic members, such as Kamala Harris, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y. and Michelle Obama, featured in the “L for Leadersition” section displayed on the alphabet.
The “ABC to My” display also has a place left for men, and seems to criticize them with “M for Mansplain”, a derogatory term for a man to explain things to women in a humble way.
“N is now” highlights the progressive women’s advocacy group of the National Women’s Organization (now).

The two letters of the letter are specifically used in the LGBTQ community. The display shows “Q is Queer” and “T for Trans Women”, and the trans flag is displayed within the circle of the female symbol.

“I just found out that a mom called me and she told me that her son had actually ripped off the sign of ‘A’ for abortion’. He was frustrated and he was taken to the principal’s office and they consulted him and they said, ‘Well, you have such an intrinsic reaction to this, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I reaction, and I reaction is. Say, “It’s not the kind of school we want to go to.” This is indoctrination, not education. ”

Email exchanges from Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), Dr. Michelle Reid and Lundquist-Arora have been provided to Fox News Numbers by the parents involved.
Lundquist-Arora, the head of the Conservative Independent Women’s Network, asked Reid via email why the “obscene display” continues to hang on the school’s historic corridor, although it appears to violate the district’s own “controversial issue policy.” The mother also emphasized President Donald Trump’s executive order“ends radical indoctrination on K-12,” she believes this was violated by the school’s “ABCS to Me” display.
Trump’s above executive order aims to remove federal funds from schools that teach Critical Race Theory (CRT).
When faced with these issues, the principal did not make any concessions to the appropriateness of the presentation and supported the school’s decision to keep the presentation.

“Generally, women’s history is excluded from traditional historical texts and teaching. I respect students’ rights, respect their honest, comprehensive historical perspectives that are relevant to young people and are aligned with assigned guidance and expectations. This is critical thinking – it is an integral part of the educational experience of our high school students who are about to graduate,” Dr. Reid said in her email. ”
The response continued: “Finally, let me make it clear that our school will continue to focus on world-class education for each student in a safe environment that values critical thinking, problem solving and creative thinking eliciting work. I think this student presents examples of this student, one of which is exploring ideas and perspectives in a thoughtful way and trust, which is importantly based on the school’s staff I am confident – with my confident staff.”

When asked for comment by Fox News Digital, Lundquist-Arora responded, “The ABCs to Me display is what happens at the intersection of politicalized teaching and biased district leadership. The teacher and administrators are using students to amplify their own diplomatic political messages, while silencing other students’ voices. Such viewpoint discrimination is unprofessional, immoral, and violents students’ civil rights and their parents’ rights to direct their children’s upbringing and education.”
