All signs show that JJ McCarthy is the center man Minnesota Vikings In Week 1.
Despite Sam Darnold’s career resurrection, the Vikings decided to move on and he went Seattle Seahawks.

Rodgers and Russell Wilson are still available, but don’t seem to be in a hurry to fight. So it looks like McCarthy, who is trading in 2024, will get a nod.
However, this is still a mystery to him.
McCarthy told Fanduel TV He has not been told that he is QB1.
“I’m glad they didn’t, because I’m trying to make money every day. I never want to give me that,” McCarthy said. “It’s an honor and an opportunity to give me this opportunity, and I’ll just make the most of it every day.”

McCarthy believes he played against Darnold last year, but a knee injury at training camp left McCarthy all season months after he helped Michigan state win the national championship.

Assuming he was that guy, McCarthy would join a firm legion with Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and TJ Hawkinson, in the Guard, Kevin O’Connell on the sidelines.
