Vice President JD Vance When he visited the Young Marines at Quantico on Wednesday, he boasted that “there is no longer a quota”, stressing that the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policy of the previous government is no longer actually practical.
“There are no more quotas, no more ridiculous Mumbo Jumbo, and no more diversity training,” he said. “We believe the real strength and true diversity of the U.S. Marines is that everyone comes from all walks of life, every corner of the United States, and that you have the power and purpose to win the war in the country.”
The vice president claimed he saw a “new sense of patriotism” and a “commitment to excellence Military youth. ”
After speaking to a group of Marines, Vance briefly served lunch at Chow Hall and fired three different guns (M27, M107 and M240B), as well as inert howitzers and drones within the range of the gun.

Vance is three hours late, blaming the delay on an Oval Office meeting with the president Donald Trump.
“I was talking to the president in the Oval Office. I said, ‘Sir, I know we’re in something, but Quantico’s Marines are waiting for me.”
He said Trump had published his “love” and appreciation.
Quantico’s lieutenant told Fox News Digital that they were happy to see a former Marine in the White House. In Washington’s rapid shooting changes, they say that the military’s daily life has not changed much, except for the new restrictions they posted on social media.

Hegseth added: “Waiting for a few weeks or a month won’t fundamentally change the calculus. 2 Direct risks of waiting: 1) leaks, we look indecisive; 2) Israel takes action first – or Gaza stops the fire collapses – we are unwilling to start with our own opinions.”
Vance replied, “If you think we should do it, go ahead. I just hate to come back to Europe.”
