Earlier in the day, his “Top Gun” co-star Tom Cruise honored Kilmer’s legacy while promoting the upcoming “Mission: Impass-Imbomy – Final Estimation.”

Although Kilmer appears in the 2022 film, he still has difficulties due to the damage from tracheostomy. Kilmer needs to use a snorkel.
“I can’t speak without this hole being inserted [in his throat]. You have to choose to breathe or eat,” he told People in 2021. “It’s a barrier no matter who sees me. ”
