Val Kilmer died suddenly Influenced Hollywood in more than one way.
On April 1, Kilmer’s daughter, actress Mercedes Kilmer, confirmed the news of his death. Kilmer died of pneumonia in Los Angeles in 1986 as Tom “Iceman” Kazansky in the original “Top Gun”.
A star who admires and works With Kilmer Over the years, social media has flocked to pay tribute to legendary actors.

Josh Brolinhe shared the screen with Kilmer in the 1995 film The Hot and paid tribute to the late actor with heart-warming posts on Instagram.
“See, I want to miss you. You are a smart, challenging, brave, creative firecracker,” Brolin captioned his photo with Kilmer. “There isn’t a lot of stuff in it. I hope to see you in heaven when I finally get there. Until then, amazing memories and lovely thoughts.”

In a statement Hollywood Reporter“I always marvel at the range when working with Val in the Heat,” said filmmaker Michael Mann. “It’s sad news after all these years of Val’s fighting disease and keeping its spirit.”

Matthew Modine starred in the 1987 war movie Full Metal Jacket, who praised the late actor for playing a role in the landing show.
“RIP Val Kilmer,” Modine Written on X. “If this wasn’t the opportunity we had at the source in 1985, I probably wouldn’t have ever worn a full metal jacket. Thanks, Val.”

When Kilmer and Tom Cruise reunited with the original “Top Gun: Maverick” nearly 30 years after the release of the original “Top Gun”, Kilmer shared that it was like a pilot who never left one another’s side.
“It seems like there is no time left,” Kilmer shared Weekly entertainment In 2022. “We laughed a lot. It’s really funny…special.”
Kilmer has spent some time painting in recent years and has been described as “a talented artist” on his website.

His breakthrough role, though, is playing Jim Morrison Oliver Stone 1991 rock documentary, “The Door”.
Then he depicted Doc Holliday in the “Tombstone” Elvis’ spirit in “Real Romance” and then plays the role of the Caped Crusader in “Batman Forever.”
Other notable honors include “Calcium”, “Saint”, “Salton Sea”, “Alexander”, “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” and “Conspiracy”.
Kilmer’s two children, Mercedes and Jack, survived.
