Mark Farnsworth, uncle of the caller Terry, reported that he found his niece unconscious and worked hard to breathe as if she was drowning, adding that she had “significant, significant health problems.”
Police and Terry found Sundwall alone in the bedroom, claiming she was in “a few hours”.

The report noted that caregivers found diabetic needles, but researchers learned that Terry was not a diabetic. When she was transported to Lexi’s Mountain Cape Hospital, paramedics found Terry’s blood sugar levels were 14 years old, under 40, which detectives said was considered life-threatening.
When Terry was treated in the ICU, media reports said her sister told doctors that Terry had advanced cancer in the past 4 to 5 years. However, Terry’s primary care physician told the family that she never had cancer. The autopsy will also confirm the doctor’s findings, revealing that Terry has never had cancer or any other major health problems.
Terry was reportedly declared brain dead by a doctor and died on August 15, 2024, nearly three days after the initial 911 calls.

The investigation also determined that there was never a fixed order made in Terry’s name, and that there was no paperwork that designated Sundwall as the victim’s authorization.
Terry’s family told investigators they suspected Sundwall had been killing Terry for years. Detectives even found evidence on the victim’s phone call, which began in December 2019 and showed text matching family suspicion.
Detectives said more than 28,000 words between the two women showed that if she became Terry over the course of four years, Sundwall detailed the different ways she would commit suicide, even allegedly willing to “help” her death, and discussed how Terry’s death solved all her money problems.
After Terry’s death, Sundwall allegedly removed more than 900 texts from her phone and searched for her life insurance policy.
