It is not clear that Marshall is upset. She scored 12 points, 9 rebounds, 4 blocks and 3 steals in the win.
Tensions between the two schools intensified in the first quarter when Trojan star Juju Watkins suffered a knee injury while driving to the basket. Watkins is guarded by Mississippi State when players face obvious pain.

USC later said Watkins had a knee injury and would be out for the rest of the season. ESPN reports Watkins suffered an ACL rupture.
After the injury, fans at the Galen Center in Los Angeles booed the Mississippi player every time they touched the ball. The Bulldogs booed the cheerleaders in the half game and the crowd collected booing again.
