Even if the United States and China seem to be reaching a deal, the deal to “save” Tiktok’s long-promoted campaign remains elusive. President Donald Trump had little clarified the deal’s current position after a call with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday.
Trump said in a post about truth socialization that the two have “progressed” in “approval of Tiktok Deal” and he “thanks to[s] Tiktok’s approval. “Trump also told Oval Office reporters, “He approved the Tiktok deal,” Reuters .
But Chinese state-owned media reported that the phone number was different. The New York Timessaid Xi Jinping conveyed the government’s “respect for the willingness of the companies concerned and was pleased to see business negotiations that comply with market rules and solutions that comply with Chinese laws and regulations, taking into account the interests of both parties.”

Trump for their efforts to preserve Tiktok in the United States. The binding will be made in accordance with applicable laws to ensure Tiktok is available to US users through Tiktok US.”
This week, multiple reports said the two sides were reaching the final stage of negotiations. It is reported that the proposed terms include For Tiktok’s US users, Bontedance’s technology will continue to be used in its algorithms, and For the Trump administration.
But when all of this will be formalized, there are still speculations. Trump also grants Tiktok a full ban extension so now both sides have to figure it out by December.
