Jackson is booked on felony charges and is currently on bail at $50,000.
Jackson attacked Smith during the game and beaten it out of the normal script, the academy said. Jackson threw at least 20 shots on the head of a seemingly unconscious wrestler.

Knokx Pro Entertainment & Academy posted a statement on its Facebook page condemning Jackson’s actions.

“The wrestling venue that should have been planned and agreed to turn into selfish, irresponsible violence against Mr. Smith,” the statement said. “This shocking act is reprehensible and should never happen. There has never been such an outrageous thing in the 17 years of Knokx Pro Wrestling Academy, and we apologize to our customers and fans.”
Rampage Jackson said the attack was part of a previously planned show, which apparently irritated Raja Jackson in anger after Smith apparently hit him in the head earlier the day before the game.
“Raja was told he could get ‘reward’ in the ring,” Jackson wrote. “I think it’s part of the show. It’s bad judgment, it’s a wrong piece. Raja is an MMA fighter, not a professional wrestler, and no business is involved in such an event. I simply don’t tolerate my son’s behavior! He suffered a concussion from a liar a few days ago and did nothing, did anything remotely and physically.”

Rampage Jackson was the UFC lightweight champion in 2007 and 2008, fighting for an MMA promotion until 2019. He also worked as a professional wrestler And actorsmost famously played Ba Baracus in the 2010 film “A-Team”.
