“The shooter is knocking on the door, pretending to be a military policeman,” said an official on campus.
“Naval support activity Annapolis coordinated with local law enforcement and is currently responding to reports on threats to the Naval Academy,” Lieutenant Naweed Lemar, NSAA PAO, told Fox News. “The base was blocked due to caution. This is a developing situation and we will provide updates where available.”
A Department of Defense official also confirmed to Fox News Digital Digital that they knew about the lockdown on campus, but there was no other information at this time.
