After several stores’ immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) raids, the company was upgraded after a hatred between Home Depot and the Los Angeles City Council escalated.

According to documents submitted to the city planning department, Home Depot plans to open a new supermarket in the Eagle Rock community in Los Angeles. The project will remove the enclosed Macy’s at Eagle Rock Plaza to make room for the store.

Two other lawmakers joined in the criticism – one said the chain was not a “good neighbor” while the other accused it of not supporting immigrant workers.
