After several stores’ immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) raids, the company was upgraded after a hatred between Home Depot and the Los Angeles City Council escalated.
When Los Angeles City Councilman Ysabel Jurado (Los Angeles) told Home Depot “bring an orange apron and go home,” the dispute began with accusing the hardware chain of ice operations related to the Trump administration of the city store. Two other lawmakers joined in the criticism – one said the chain was not a “good neighbor” while the other accused it of not supporting immigrant workers.
