French Air and Space Force wrote on X that the collision caused three pilots and one passenger to eject and parachute.
The jet is part of the seven-jet team coordinated with the French Patrol (PAF), the agency’s precise aerobatics demonstration unit, near the aerial base in San Dizier Northeastern France It is around 3:40 pm local time.

The video shows seven planes turn consistently while emitting colored smoke, but at least two jets collide with each other.
Two jets can then be immediately seen spiraling towards the ground, while the crew can be seen popping up and activate the parachute. The jet hit the ground and ignited it with a fire feather.
“At BA 113 in Saint-Dizier, two Alphajets on the French Tour collided in seven training flights,” the article on X read. “Three pilots, including one passenger, were able to eject in time and were safe. No casualties were found at this stage of the crash zone.”

French Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu also confirmed the incident and wrote on X that the emergency service responded to the scene.
“Some were injured and they were taken care of,” he wrote. “Thanks to the mobilization of emergency services, our thoughts on the pilots of the French Patrol.”

It is not clear what caused the planes to gather together.
The Alpha Jet is a light attack, a senior coaching aircraft jointly developed by France’s Dassault Airways and Germany’s Dornier in the 1970s. The jet comes with two seats, which are usually used for pilot training, Stunts.

Founded in 1953, PAF is considered a prestigious aerobatic unit, known for its displays during the Bastille Day parade. The PAF consists of hand-selected fighter pilots, and accidents are rare in the department.
