President Donald Trump He realized his dream of a high school student at a joint Congress meeting Tuesday night.
In a speech about how hot topics across the country influence Americans, Trump began talking about Jason Hartley, whose dream was to “continue the family legacy” by joining the U.S. military.
Hartley’s father, grandfather and great-grandfather were all in the army to serve the country. His father died in August 2018 and he also serves as the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Representative.
His dream is to be accepted American Military Academy At West Point, as a high school student, Hartley has applied to a prestigious school.

Trump boasted about Hartley in his speech, referring to his praise as a six-letter college athlete and a “stellar student” with an average of 4.46 points. Both feats received applause from the conference hall.
Trump’s compliment to the teenager led to a very exciting announcement that he lets Hartley know that his dream of attending pastry will come true.
“It’s hard to get in, but I’m happy to tell you that your application has been accepted,” Trump said.
