President Donald Trump He may run for the third semester, explaining to NBC News that he likes to work and runs for the Oval Office without jokes.
“A lot of people want me to do that,” Trump told NBC News in a phone interview Sunday. “But, I mean, I basically told them we still have a long way to go, and that’s already early on.”
For now, he “focused on his current tenure” but told the media that he “didn’t joke” with his third term.
He added: “It’s too early to consider now.”

Roosevelt died during his fourth term, with Vice President Harry Truman taking office as president. Roosevelt was the only president in the history of the country to be elected and served for more than two terms, mainly due to the political and economic atmosphere at home and abroad, and his presidency continued to grow at the beginning of the Great Depression and World War II.

When asked how he could go, Trump said: “There are ways to do it.” About running third semester. The media surfaced that Vice President JD Vance could run for president, win and pass the torch to Trump. The president said this situation was one of the ways he could use his third term.

“But there are others,” Trump added without elaboration.
“I love work.” He told the media when asked if he would be in another term.

Trump had previously teased his third term, demanding Republican lawmakers during his January retreat: “Do I allow another election?”
Rep. Andy Ogles is R-tenn, the top ally of Trump Congress. A resolution was introduced just days after Trump took office in January to allow the president to serve three terms but serve for four consecutive years.
The amendment will read: “No one shall be elected president for more than three times, nor shall he be elected to any other term after two consecutive terms, nor shall he hold or hold the presidency or hold the presidency for more than two years, and the other person shall be elected as president for more than two years.”
Ogles told Fox Digital in January that Trump “proving himself as the only person in modern history who can reverse the decline of our nation and restore greatness to America must give him the time it takes to achieve that.”
“To this end, I propose amendments to the Constitution to amend the restrictions imposed by the 22nd Amendment under the presidential terms,” Ogles said. “This amendment will enable President Trump to serve for three terms to ensure we can urgently need the bold leadership of our country.”
