“End of the day, hopefully these two trips will merge. That will be good. I’m involved, too,” Trump said. “But hope we’ll have two tours.

Monaghan added: “We believe there is room for the important aspects of LIV golf to be incorporated into the PGA Tour platform and said he could envision a “future” that public investment fund Governor Yasir al-Rumayyan could join the tour committee.
“We are doing everything we can to bring the two sides together. That is, we are not doing this in a way that reduces the strength of the platform or the real momentum with fans and partners,” he said, adding that “the barriers remain.”
Trump expressed optimism last month, both sides will get some Transaction type completion.
“They have to get together,” he said. “They have a lot of discussion back and forth. They both mean well and they will eventually come to an agreement. I think that will happen soon. It’s nice to see the best golfers fighting each other.”

“They are all great people and they want to solve this problem,” Trump added. “So if I can help it solve it…I get nothing. I can help them solve it. I just think golf – it’s a personal sport and you want to see the best players playing against each other, not playing in two different locations.”
Since its inception, Trump’s courses have hosted several LIV events, with the last PGA event in the mid-2010s.
