A handful of GOP senators gentlen away from the call of Trump Zelenskyy “a dictator without elections” and falsely blamed him to start the Russian war. But senators are reluctant to call the Trump in the name.

Trump said yesterday that Ukraine “began” in Russia’s war, if, in fact, Russia invaded Ukraine on February 2022. Sen. John Kennedy, R-la.
“Here’s where I agree with the White House: Until the White House says Ukraine has begun the war, I do not agree. I think Vladimir Putin began to war,” Kennedy told the reporters today. “I also believe, by bitter experience, that Vladimir Putin is a gangster.”
Other GOP senators said Trump was properly called Zelenskyy for postponing elections in Ukraine. The country should make an election in the presidency at the end of the spring, but it is delayed because of the war.
“He must have an election. He [Trump] Not wrong about that, “says Sen. Josh Hawley, R-mo.” We have an election during World War II. Democrats have elections. So I thought he was right to call Zelenskyy with that. He was the chosen leader of Ukraine, but he also imposes martial law without allowing people to vote. “
