Tiktok will have more time to figure out plans to stay in the United States. President Trump signed another executive order effectively extending the deadline, and the company added our buyers to another 75 days. The president says he intends to give the deal more time Through Truth Social Jobs.
“My administration has been working hard to save Tiktok and we have made tremendous progress,” Trump wrote. “This deal requires more work to ensure that all the necessary approvals are signed, which is why I signed an executive order to get Tiktok up and run for an additional 75 days.”
Trump suggests that the recently introduced new tariffs against U.S. trading partners such as China will somehow help the deal.
