President Donald Trump A state visit to the UK will be made this week, his second such stop during his presidency. Trump will travel to Arizona to attend the funeral of conservative activists later this week Charlie Kirk.
It was unusual for Trump to return to England, as the U.S. president rarely made more than one state visit during his tenure, emphasizing the political and symbolic weight of the time.
King Charles plans royal wonders for President Trump with a star-studded guest list
Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will be hosted by King Charles III of Windsor Castle and Queen Camilla. Buckingham Palace is undergoing renovation. During the visit, Trump will also meet with Prince of Wales and Princess Catherine.
After being officially welcomed, Trump will participate in a series of ceremonial activities, including a carriage parade, gun tribute and overpasses of military fighter planes.

The celebration will peak with a luxurious state dinner. An estimated 150 guests usually invite state dinners based on their cultural, diplomatic or economic ties to the country they host.

Trump will head to Checkers, the country building of the current British Prime Minister, on Thursday, where he will meet Keir Starmer for a series of bilateral meetings before holding a joint press conference later that day.
Trump, 79, and King Charles, 76, have known each other for decades, dating back to Charles’ visit to Trump’s Margrago estate in the late 1980s. Recently, Charles survived a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and Trump.

After Kirk’s widow Erika died, he vowed to carry out his husband’s mission. “For everyone I listen to in the U.S. tonight, the movement my husband built won’t die,” Kirk said in a video statement on Friday. “I refuse to let that happen. No one will forget my husband’s name. I’ll make sure of that. It will get stronger. Bold. Big, bigger than ever.”

Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of the Charlie Kirk Show, wrote on X that over the past 48 hours, the U.S. turn points have received more than 32,000 inquiries from people looking to start a new campus chapter.
