Trump is ‘going to run for a third term,’ Steve Bannon tells Bill Maher

Long-term Trump Ellie Steve Bannon tells Bill Maher President Donald Trump Friday night’s episode of “Real Time” is “To run for the third semester.”

During discussions by the committee on January 6 Bannon was recently released from prisonBannon mentioned that he refused to testify before the committee, rather than protecting Trump, but “stand up for the Constitution.”

Maher then told Bannon that he “brought a copy of the Constitution” to the show and read the 22nd Amendment aloud.

“Amendment 22. Maher read, adding: “No one must be elected as the presidential office, but you’ve been talking about Trump’s Maybe you should have this,” before handing over a copy of the Constitution to Bannon.

The former Trump adviser clarified: “President Trump did not propose a third term” and he and others have proposed the idea.

Bannon asserted: “President Trump will run for his third term and President Trump will be elected again on the afternoon of January 20, 2029. He will serve as President of the United States.”

“Okay, but what I just read.” Mach replied, pointing at constitution. “It seems there is no room there that swings, it seems that there are only eight to ten words, only said twice.”

Bannon told Maher that “we have a team of one person” is working to review the amendment.

Mach asked: “How can a team do something about this? I don’t care if the team is 12 trillion people, these words are still words.”

Bannon noted that there are currently “120 lawsuits made by President Trump for his second right” and that those currently suing Trump are based on their own interpretation of the Constitution.

Bannon said, lifting a copy of the Constitution: “Explanation of this [the U.S. Constitution] Open for explanation. ”

“How could it be opened – can I get it back?” Maher replied, reaching out to retrieve a copy of the constitution he gave to Bannon.

The owner laughed with the audience in the late night, and then went through every word of the 22 Amendment with Bannon.

Maher told Bannon that he added: “I can’t see what the ‘team’ is finding out.”
