“Newsom was able to do this job, and as the governor of the fifth largest economy, there were many benefits to her name ID when our party was looking for national leaders and California was looking for good governance – especially when California was going through a lot of things.”
But Harris also faces questions about how she handles the president’s bid, including allegations that she has been evading interviews.
