President Donald Trump and the First Lady had to switch from the Marines to a support helicopter on Thursday after a hydraulic release forced a local airport to Stansted Airport in England to force an unplanned landing.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters that the conversion was due to “small hydraulic problems.”
“Out of a lot of caution, the pilot landed at the local airport before arriving at Stansted Airport,” Levitt said. “The president and the first lady boarded the support helicopter safely.”
