President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump Windsor Castle On Tuesday night.

Wednesday’s celebrations will be held with Trump, the First Lady and several top U.S. officials in the carriage parade with the King, Queen and other royals. Before the couple arrived, hundreds of employees worked on the halls and grounds of the nearly 1,000-year-old castle to ensure the monarch welcomed the couple in a true royal way.

Trump will ride the most important carriage with King Charles, while Melania will ride the subsequent carriage with the Queen. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff will also be in the follow-up carriage.

“My relationship is very good with Britain, Charles is now the king, and is my friend,” Trump told reporters. “This is where the first time the honors have happened. So, it’s a big honor.”

“That’s in Windsor,” Trump added. “And I don’t want to say one is better than the other, but they say Windsor Castle is the ultimate, right?

“Mainly with Charles and Camilla,” he continued. “They have been my friends for a long time and were honored to have this king long before he was the king.”

The heart of Trump’s visit will be the banquet at St. George’s Hall. The Waterloo table is about half the length of the football field and can accommodate up to 160 guests. The Associated Press reported that the table took five days and there were more than 4,000 pieces on it, including 200-year-old silver.

The visit was held as the U.S. and the UK continued trade negotiations, although the White House has not yet indicated that any deals will be announced during the event.

Queen Camilla and King Charles wore crowns and royal robes to admire each other.

Trump is the U.S. president who was invited by the British monarch to visit twice. The late queen During his first government, he and Melania were received in 2019.
