Two key bills supported by the president Donald Trump Votes are expected this week as Republican lawmakers continue to try to formulate the first 100-day sprint on the White House agenda.
R-Calif. Rep. Darrell Issa’s No Rogue Judgment Act (NORRA Act) will limit the ability of district court judges to issue orders Block Trump policy National. In addition, R-Texas Rep. Chip Roy’s U.S. Voter Qualifications (Save) Act is intended to prove citizenship during the voting registration process.

The former law was a response to Trump’s ongoing mismatch, and the judge paralyzed his agenda, a bill the president and his allies have long pushed for.
The bill passed the House Rules Committee on Tuesday to conduct an expected partisan vote.
The original plan to vote through the panel Monday night will be passed through the original plan that will kill R-Fla after House Republican leaders try to insert language into the joint “rules.” Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s unrelated bid to vote remotely for new parents in the House.

Two people familiar with the discussion said earlier this month that Capitol Hill aides were told Trump “liked” the bill. Meanwhile, Roy’s bill has been pushed by Trump and various conservative groups since the 2024 election.
Democrats argue that if passed, it would make it harder for women to deprive women of their rights. Republicans say it is a necessary crackdown to prevent illegal immigrants from voting in federal elections, which is already a violation of the law.
