Universities across the United States said over the weekend that they had revoked visas for several international students. It is unclear whether visa revocation is related to anti-Israel actions by affected international students.
Recent wave of visa revocation affects international students at Harvard University University of MichiganStanford University, University of California, Los Angeles, Ohio State University, and more.
At Harvard, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revoked visas for three graduate students and two recent graduates.

according to Harvard Crimson. The most affected institutions also learned that during the review of records, the student visa had been revoked and that the DHS was not contacted.
“We don’t know the details of the revocation or the reasons for the reason, but we understand that a large number of students and scholars across institutions nationwide have experienced similar state changes over roughly the same time frame,” the Harvard International Office wrote in an email to students.

Four University of Michigan students were also taken away by the Department of Homeland Security on Friday. According to one of these students, they left the country Detroit Freedom.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio It was said on March 28 that the student visa was revoked every day.
“I think – what I want to add is what we see on campuses across the country where students can’t actually go to school, you can’t – buildings are taking over, activities are going on – it’s obviously an organized campaign,” Rubio said. “And if you use student visas in this country and are a participant in these campaigns, we have the right to deny your visa.
