Nathanielle Morin, Canadian Consultant A statement this week was sent to the federal minister of women to defend the advisors participating in the women’s marathon for transgender biological men.
Morin mentioned President Donald Trump’s recent Executive Order This prevents trans athletes from participating in women’s and women’s sports in their statements.
“I know that due to my medical history, my participation will be discussed a lot. The situation in the United States and the comments of some politicians will not help,” Morin wrote.

“With all the respect I deserve, I am in (amateur entertainment activities), the scientific research status in the field (for amateur entertainment level) and the fact that I have experienced a medical transition, I think I think I have the legality to participate in Appropriate category unless law prohibits me from doing so.
Molin added that as consultants weigh whether to continue to compete in the women’s marathon, it will be considered other medical research.
Morin posted an article on X on Tuesday further addressing the advisor’s status as a trans marathon runner.

“Transgender people just want to be fully integrated into their true selves and be happy in our society,” Morin wrote.
Morin’s most prominent race in the 5km Bougebouge running race on February 4, 2024. There, Morin, ranked No. 1 with a 25:32 mark, earning the title of “Fastest Women” in the categories of all ages.
Morin’s runner-up was a girl from the age group of 10-12, who ran away at 26:08 and would have been ranked No. 1 if Morin hadn’t competed.
If Morin participates in the men’s category, then trans runners will rank 10th among all male participants.

As of June 2017, all places in Canada must comply with the Canadian Human Rights Act, equal opportunity and/or anti-discrimination legislation, prohibiting discrimination against gender identity or expression of gender identity. The law protects the inclusion of all trans athletes in women’s and women’s sports.
Trump’s recent executive order in the United States states that any public funding agency that allows trans athletes to participate in girls or women’s sports will lose their federal funding.
Trump has also repeatedly suggested that Canada join the United States, potentially becoming the 51st state.
