The official USATF trans qualification policy now does mention the World Track and Field Guide to its official page. It previously referenced the IOC policy as shown in the archive Wayback Machine.
Schreiner claimed to have been informed of the USATF changes at 1 a.m. the night before the game.
“They tried to threaten me, saying they now adopt the world’s trans-field policy,” Schreiner said in the video.
USATF Maine President Mark Dennett told Fox News Digital that Schreiner played in Maine and was not disqualified.
“The athletes did play and were not disqualified in the game,” Dennett said.
Fox News Digital has contacted Schreiner in response to Dennett’s statement.

But on February 6, Schreiner was ruled not to compete for RIT after Trump signed an executive order banning trans athletes in women and women’s sports.

In late February, Schreiner posted a video claiming athletes’ running speed slowed down after taking medication to increase estrogen. Schreiner talked about wanting to discuss with decision makers among NCAA’s decision makers in order to discuss the policy before it takes effect.
“They could have seen the outcome of their previous policy and how it kept me fair, but they didn’t,” Schreiner said. “And I’m still keen on having this conversation. If I’m allowed properly, I’m still keen on educating more people.”
Schreiner has been a controversial figure in women’s track and field for the past year, especially after making a appearance at the 2024 NCAA Level III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in May.
Earlier that month, Schreiner took part in the Free League title and won the Women’s 200m and 400m championships, breaking the 400m record in the process. Schreiner will finish the match in more than two seconds in the men’s game.
In late January, Schreiner bragged after winning the game against his female opponent.
“This is not the race I’ve been looking for this week, and my spikes almost fell off the turn, and the bad start, my time is hardly what I want,” the runner wrote in an Instagram post.
“The good news is that this season is just beginning and I’m going to leave everything on the Nationals track,” Schreiner added.

On January 17, Schreiner ranked first among the 200-meter and 400-meter dash on Friday night, ranking highest among two female seniors. In the 200m dash, Schreiner beat RIT teammate Caroline Hill with 1.5 seconds and ranked first in Brockport’s wise 400m sprint. Schreiner’s score was automatically qualified for the All Atlantic Regional Track and Field Championships.
On January 24, Schreiner ranked first in the 200-meter dashboard at Friday’s RIT meeting, beating Brockport’s Liberty League junior Lexi Rodriguez in a faster time. On January 30, Schreiner ranked first in the 200-meter and 400-meter dash against Liberty opponents.
