The high school track runner suffered a concussion after hitting her concussion from behind with a baton, and it looks like she will be back on the track this weekend.

Everett claims the attack happened because she lost her balance and the baton was “stuck” behind the opponent. Everett and her entire team were disqualified.

Everett has no competition. In fact, only one student from her school, Dontae Riddick, will compete in the boy’s 60-meter sprint.
