Want to quit smoking and turn to vaping? These practical tips will help you be at your best during this quitting smoking process.
These recommendations are not only from our experience but from dozens of experienced vapers who have shared tips on social media with us for the sake of generosity.
Let’s begin with a simple device.
For most people, beginning with a straightforward vape device minimizes the learning curve, letting them focus more on the experience rather than mastering controls.
It must be one of those choices that includes a pre-filled pod. Insert this pod into the device, and you can inhale with it. Once mastered, you’ll be on a refillable pod system with huge savings and thousands of flavours to experiment with.
Start with nerd vape or crown bar vape for an incredible vaping experience.
Get the inhale right.
To enjoy vaping thoroughly, longer and slower puffs must be taken compared to smoking. Indeed, this is even proven in a research study wherein longer, slower puffs gained users more nicotine.
The problem is trivial.
When you puff harder on a cigarette, you get more smoke, but when you puff harder on a vape, nothing happens. You have ingrained in yourself the habit of puffing harder to get more nicotine. It does not work this way with vaping.
So, if you don’t enjoy the taste first, try again with a change in your puffing style. You may be taking shallow puffs; instead, take deeper and slower puffs. Please take a look at our inhaling guide for more information.
Choose the right vape juice.
There are two major types of e-liquids: nicotine salts and freebase.
If you like a smooth throat hit, then nicotine salts are probably best, as they are pleasant and gentle on the back of the throat, even up at high nicotine levels.
Regular e-liquid- also known as free base- is much stronger on the back of the throat and can work well with lower nicotine levels if you want a harder hit.
Get familiar with your device.
The days are gone when you spend hours reading tutorials to get the most out of your vape. Vaping has become much more straightforward.
That said, learn a few basics about refillable devices.
Two important things to note:
How often do you change the pod or coil? It may come with a burnt flavour if you fail to do this.
Drink plenty of water when one starts vaping.
The main ingredient in e-liquid, propylene glycol, can cause dry mouth.
It is common among new vapers less in more experienced vapers, and the cure is very simple-to sip water in a glass while vaping.
Don’t beat yourself up if you slip up.
While going from a pack a day to no cigarettes would be ideal, it is difficult to do. That is why ‘dual use’ (both vaping and smoking) is familiar to new vapers.
This appears to be a problem if expecting a “magic bullet.” It would easily lead one to think that vaping is not for someone; however, that’s far from the case.
Many of the vapers we interviewed continued smoking cigarettes even when they began to vape. However, their cigarette smoking levels reduced because they still took a considerable number of them. Quitting 100% is excellent, but the reduction in smoking is a great result.
Experimentation is the key to transitioning to vaping.
Vaping is only for some people since nothing is. Base your decision on much more than one or two experiences.
Most vapers do not quit on their first attempt. But before quitting, try all the options you can get your hands on. Try out various devices on offer, taste thousands of e-liquids, and above all-learn to enjoy vaping as much as possible. Try the nerd vape or crown bar vape.
