Three people were shot dead in the same area of ​​South Los Angeles over the weekend, one of which was fatal.

A day later, a woman was found in the 10200 block of South San Pedro Street. The woman, described as about 31 years old, was pronounced dead in the hospital, Im said.

Another person was shot Sunday morning, this time in the 103rd Street and Avalon Avenue areas, according to police.

Authorities said that two men were reportedly sitting in a blue truck, sitting in his car and opening fire, pulled up with a third person.

LAPD official Norma Eisenman said the shooting victim was taken to the hospital.
