Texas track meet stabbing suspect’s lawyer plans to ask for $1M bond to be lowered: report

“I know my client said it was self-defense. I have no reason not to believe this, but I need to develop the facts, talk to people and figure out what happened before I make any statement about what I think happened,” said lawyer Deric Walpole KXAS-TV. “I have no reason to think it is not self-defense at the moment.”

He told the news station that he requested a hearing next week to lower Anthony’s margin. Anthony is still in custody in the Collins County Jail.

Anthony, a student-athlete from Frisco Centennial High School in Texas, charged He is allegedly stabbed Metcalf, 17, a junior at Frisco Memorial High School, died Wednesday morning in a seat dispute.

According to the arrest report, a school resource officer was the first to arrive and face Anthony. Fox 4.

The suspect also allegedly told officer Metcalf to “put his hand” on him.

When officials told others that he was accused of stabbing the suspect in custody, Anthony apparently said: “I have no suspicion. I did.” According to Fox 4’s arrest report.

“He put his hand on me. I told him not to,” Anthony allegedly said when authorities brought the teenager to the police car.

Metcalf’s twin brother Hunter recalls his brother when he met his sad mother Meghan on Wednesday on Wednesday’s “Will Cain Show”.

“I looked up and suddenly, I saw him running from the stands looking at his chest. … I put my hands there and tried to do it [the bleeding] Stopped, I grabbed his head and I looked into his eyes. I just saw his soul leave, which took my soul away. ” Hunter said.

According to witnesses, the stabbing apparently happened after Metcalf asked Anthony to move from under the tent to Memorial High School, and Anthony replied: “Touch me and see what happens.”

Police said Metcalf “catched” him and Anthony took out a knife and stabbed him.
