“These results show the full weight of the DEA’s commitment to protecting the American people,” DEA administrator Terrance Cole said in a statement.
“Every kilogram of poison was caught, every dollar was stripped from the cartel, and every arrest we arrested represents a life saved and a defense community. The DEA will not be relentless until the cartel in Sinaloa was removed from top to bottom.”

In New England, officials said 171 suspected cartel members were arrested, 244 kilograms of drugs, 22,115 counterfeit pills, $1.3 million in cashcaught 33 guns.
The total arrests include 64 in Connecticut, 49 in Massachusetts, 33 in New Hampshire, 11 in Maine, 10 in Rhode Island, and 33 in Vermont.
“They are our number one enemy in New England,” said Jarod Loss, a special agent in charge of the DEA’s New England division.
