When I tell someone, I get anywhere in the United States I’m from California I got one of two reactions:
“You need to get out of there – move to a less crazy place!”
Or: “Why did they continue to vote (fill in the curse word of your choice…)?”

Well, here’s the good news: The answers to these two questions are now blended in a beautiful and positive prospect: real political change in Golden State.
My answer to the first question is usually: “Why us leave? This is my home! I raise my family here; I start a business here. Yes, our terrible government has turned everything into a disaster now, but I love California. It’s not the ones we should leave, but the ones who do it! Democratic politicians: They need Leave the office. ”
Then combine that with the way I answer the second question now, why people still vote on the same old one you know: “In fact, they start voting in different ways.”

Just four years ago, a friend of mine, longtime California Republican Tony Strickland (now newly elected state senator), brought together four dynamic candidates to challenge Democratic dominance.

Guess what? They had an amazing clean scan during the election last November. They claimed their “magazine seven” won every seat. Huntington Beach moved from 6-1 Democratic control to 7-0 Republicans.
In 2024, there are other signs that a political revolution may be brewing.
In 2024, nearly one-fifth of California counties (10 of 58) have changed from blue to red, including Fresno, the state’s fifth largest city.
Proposition 36 (reversed some of the worst parts of the former vice president and California attorney general Kamala Harris’s The disastrous pro-crime proposal 47 a few years ago received more than 70% support. Soros-backed Das like George Gascon of Los Angeles were kicked out.
Voting initiatives to raise minimum wages, impose rent controls and tax rates were defeated.
Of course, the president Donald Trump For decades, it has performed better in California than any Republican presidential candidate.
Registrations for Republican voters are also increasing when Democratic registrations decline.
All of this is happening forward The disastrous Los Angeles wildfires show many people the horrible consequences of what I call Dei: Democratic extremism and incompetence.
This is the government Gavin Newsom Who presided over all this. He is the one who has made years of left-wing insanity to California’s highest poverty rate, the most expensive housing, gasoline, electricity and water, the highest unemployment rate, the lowest income growth and the worst business environment.
Public schools are a disaster, homeless people continue to get out of control, California’s dreams are out of reach, and fire hydrants are out of water.

On Newsom’s watches, California has gone from crown jewelry in the United States to its worst state. No fair person can draw any other conclusions.

Thanks to the huge scale of “Califailure”, zero signs of any specific action by Democrats to clear the chaos they have caused, Republicans have indeed won in 2026 for the first time in two decades. A recent poll showed that 48% of Californians would vote for the Republican governor.
So, you’re there: This is probably Gavin Newsom’s greatest legacy: Flip California Red!
