Omar also criticized Republican figures who have been attacking Democrats’ comments since Kirk’s assassination. “These people are filled with s–. For us, calling them out while we feel angry and sad, and empathetic, Charlie said, ‘No, it shouldn’t exist’ because it’s a new word or something,” Omar said, referring to Kirk’s comment on “hate speech.”
