In the recent Netflix documentary “Live To 100: The Secret of the Blue Area”, Buettner visited five destinations – Okinawa, Japan; Sardinia, Italy; Icaria, Greece; Nicoya, Costa Rican; and Loma Linda, California – to discover why they live with the highest rate of centenarians.
“We verified the age and found that in these areas people are middle-aged about 10 years older,” he said.
