The Pilgrim Cafe will host the negative comments that the event will be hosted.
Pilgrim Coffeehouse is owned by Keith Carpenter, chief pastor of Epic Life Church. The church points out that it considers marriage between “a man and a woman” on its website.
Commentators vowed to hold protests, and some even called on the coffee shop to leave the city, saying that carpenters’ views on marriage did not match the ideals of a progressive city.

“Christian gay cafe selected!” An account called “Sounder Sam” was posted under the city’s venue announcement. The same person reminded the community that the morning of the event was planned to be held outside the cafe with a “Pro LGBTQIA2S+ protest”.
Other comments accused the city of choosing a “parassive” and “anti-LGBTQIA+” location and requested it to be hosted elsewhere.
In response to the rebound, the coastline suddenly canceled its activity. Lands Report.

Cancellation announcements are mostly positive comments.
“Thank you, Shoreline!!! My family feels a little bit safer in our neighborhood now thanks to this decision,” one comment under the City Hall Facebook post read.
Carpenter also outlines all the ways his church helps people in need in the community and promises to treat everyone with respect and dignity at his coffee shop.
He also objected to cancellation in an interview with Rands.
“It’s a form of discrimination,” Carpenter told the radio host, adding that he doesn’t want to play the “victim card”.

Carpenter said he could handle the online rebound, but his churches and coffee shops also had “blatant lies.”
“We serve anyone walking into the door. I don’t even know (if they are LGBT). We won’t ask questions. So it’s like a starter for us because no one asks questions at the door. Anyone walking in this space will get the same beauty, generosity, tolerance, accommodation treatment. And it’s probably the best cup for all a month or year round,” he told Rantz. ”
It doesn’t make much sense, he said, and the city will exclude his business from the event while touting its inclusive value.
“Basically, it’s like, ‘We don’t want to be in our city pilgrim cafe and then put it there publicly,” Carpenter told Lands.
“It’s better [the]They try to talk about inclusion. This is the opposite, and it is difficult. It’s hard to do business. ” he added.

A Shoreline City spokesman told Fox News Digital, “No matter who they are or what they believe in, the city is committed to being a welcome place for everyone.”
“Local government’s work focuses on basics – is potholes, sidewalks and public safety. Coffee with police should be a place where law enforcement can be discussed with residents on the coastline with residents. When the March 26 event is caught in other issues, it no longer serves public safety.
