It’s been a pretty long waiting game since PGA Tour and Liv Golf Announced their intentions to unite.
That shocking announcement was made June 6, 2023but almost all accounts are not imminent.
Rory McIlroy recently appeared to hint at those who failed to complete the agreement, saying, “Tango requires two.”

Earlier this week, Domination Masters champion Scottie Scheffler shared a similar view.
“I hope some of them stayed, but at the end of the day, they made the choice. They knew the consequences of this decision, and I’m not changing their minds here. I’m not sick of anyone who left.”
“They did what they wanted to do and I couldn’t control their lives. I wouldn’t sit here and say they should do something different. They made the choice. If we want to figure out why golf games aren’t coming back together, go ask those guys, ask those guys. Go anywhere we play this week and figure out when the game will be back.”

PGA Travel Specialist Jay Monahan President Donald Trump is the “host” in recent discussions between the two sides.

Trump expressed optimism last month, both sides will get some Transaction type completion.

“They have to get together,” he said. “They have a lot of discussion back and forth. They both mean well and they will eventually come to an agreement. I think that will happen soon. It’s nice to see the best golfers fighting each other.”
