SCOOP: Jim Jordan joining Trump at NCAA men’s wrestling championships

First on Fox: House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is joining the president Donald Trump Sources familiar with his plans told Fox News Digital this weekend at the NCAA Men’s Wrestling Championships.

The White House confirmed on Friday that Trump will attend the event with Jordan and Senator Dave McCormick (R-PA).

McCormick previously confirmed Trump will attend events at the Senator’s home Pennsylvania.

“I’m very happy this weekend and [Trump] for [NCAA Wrestling] McCormick wrote on X. “I wrestled in the towns of Pennsylvania and West Point. It taught me perseverance, resilience, and effort.”

Jordan himself won the prestigious wrestling championship during high school and later at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he won two NCAA Class I men’s wrestling championships.

He later was an assistant coach for the Ohio State University wrestling program from 1987 to 1995.

Fox News Digital emailed Jordan’s office for comment, but did not hear it immediately.
