- One person was killed in a Russian air strike in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, on Sunday.
- The death toll on Friday’s attack on Kryvyi Rih, a central Ukrainian city, rose to 19.
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the intensified Russian attacks showed that international pressure in Moscow remains insufficient.
On Sunday, Russian air strikes hit Kiev, the Ukrainian capital, while the death toll from the deadly attack on Kryvyi Rih, the Ukrainian city of central Ukraine, continued to rise.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko said Kiev victims were found near the strike center of the strike. Three other people were injured during the strike and fire broke out in several non-residential areas, destroying cars and buildings.
In a statement on social media Ukrainian President Vodimir Zelensky Russia’s intensified attacks show that international pressure in Moscow remains insufficient.

He said that in the past week alone, Russia has launched more than 1,460 led air bombs, nearly 670 attacks on drones and more than 30 missiles.
“These attacks are (Russian President Vladimir) Putin’s reaction to all international diplomatic efforts. Each of our partners – the United States, the entire Europe, the entire world – sees Russia intends to continue the war and killing.”
“That’s why stress cannot be relieved. It must be aimed at ensuring security and bringing peace closer.”

Meanwhile, officials said the death toll from Friday’s attacks Central City Kryvyi Rih Continuing to grow, 19 people died – including many children – and another 75 were injured.
Kryvyi Rih government chief Oleksandr Vilkul announced three days of condolences for the attack.
“We will stand together. No matter how difficult it is, we will win,” he said. “The enemy will be punished for the tears of every Ukrainian and every mother.”
Local authorities said the Kryvyi Rih strike damaged 44 apartment buildings and 23 private homes.
The Russian Defense Ministry claimed on Friday that it had held a high-precision missile strike at a restaurant and had a highly explosive warhead at a meeting with unit commanders and Western coaches.

The Russian military claimed the strike killed 85 military personnel and foreign officers and destroyed 20 vehicles. The military’s claims cannot be independently verified. The Ukrainian General Staff rejected the claims.
Elsewhere, Russian troops fired 23 missiles and 109 strikes and bait drones overnight, Ukrainian Air Force Said Sunday. It said 13 missiles and 40 drones were shot down, while 53 bait drones were blocked and did not reach their destination.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said its air defense destroyed 11 Ukrainian drones, including eight in the Rostov region and two in the Kursk region.
