Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Monday White South Africans Facing threats of violence will be welcomed in the United States.
Rubio’s position is a tension between the South African government and the Trump administration’s land acquisition law on the country and its anti-Israel stance.
In an article on X, Rubio mentioned “Kill Boole,” an ancient anti-apartheid ode that critics say is a call for anti-white violence that has been used to refer to white farmers.

“South Africa’s leaders and politicians must act to protect the Dutch and other adverse ethnic minorities,” Rubio wrote on Monday. “In this persistent threat of terrible violence, the United States is proud of individuals who qualify to enter our country.”
Trump administration opposes South AfricaExpropriation law and its position on Israel.
The Land Acquisition Act allows the government to seize land without compensation. In February, Trump issued an executive order that imposed penalties on South Africa.

The order states: “In a shocking disregard for its civil rights, the Republic of South Africa recently issued Volume 13 of 2024, enabling the South African government to seize agricultural property of South African minority Africa Dutch without compensation.”
In addition, South Africa accused the Israeli International Court of Justice of committing genocide Oppose Palestinians In the Gaza Strip. The country is also getting closer to Iran and plans to develop commercial, military and nuclear arrangements.
Earlier this month, Rubio announced that South Africa is no longer welcomed by South Africa’s ambassador to the United States. In an article on X, Rubio called Amhahim Rasool a “race bait” politician who hated the United States and Trump.
