Blink 182 bassist and singer Mark Hops Melissa Joan Hart didn’t have a magical night.
Share in an excerpt from his new memoir, Fahrenheit 182 Weekly entertainmentHops recalled meeting the “Sabrina, Teen Witch” star at the Teen Choice Awards, “She must be fun because she asked the PR staff to contact the promoter of my record label and give me her phone number. Totally normal courtship.”
Hops admits he tried to be cool and used “Hollywood industry terminology” but realizes that it may not have impressed her because she “has been famous for years.”

The two took a date for sushi, but Hops didn’t feel like they were clicking.
“It’s a bad date. She’s very kind, but we didn’t connect. Everything in her life revolved around acting and it’s hard to have anything else to do with her.”
He said when he asked what food he liked besides sushi, she said she spent most of her time eating. When he asked her what she liked to read, she said she was mainly Read the work script.

“From her perspective, I’m sure I can only talk about music. We’re just a great game. It’s tough,” Hopps said.
After dinner, Hart invites him back to her house, but he eventually calls it an evening so he can prepare for the morning music video shoot.
When he returned to his hotel room, he had a voicemail from Skye Everly’s MTV Booker asking him to call her.

Hoppus called back, “Some relaxed pleasure quickly turned into in-depth conversations. We talked about everything.”

The singer got married in 2000 and welcomed their son Jack two years later.

Hart continues Marrying musician Mark Wilkerson In 2003, three sons, Mason, Braden and Tucker were welcomed.
Representatives of Hart and Hoppus did not immediately return Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
