The 81-year-old “Taxi Driver” actor recently admitted that his daughter asked him to read the Gen Z list.
“My daughter asked me to read a whole list of expressions so she could show her friends and laugh at me,” De Niro explained on Tuesday’s “Drew Barrymore Show.”

He noted that he agreed to participate while they remained interactive with themselves.
He said: “I did it, yes…just don’t send it.
Although de Niro didn’t mention which word on the list, he shared that he didn’t learn anything new.

“No, I don’t want to. I said, ‘Those are what you said these days, it’s great.'”
Barrymore chatted with her experience and shared the conversation she had with the kids.
“I said ‘fire’ and they said, ‘That’s dead.’ …’fleek?’ They were like, ‘Oh, God.'”
