Blow dry brush Has become my Holy Grail-style styling device. Maybe you’ve heard the term, or it’s one of its synonyms, such as a heating brush, a hot brush, or a blowout brush. These are not all things – a blow-dry brush blows out hot hair, both acting as a hair dryer and a brush, while a hot brush or heated brush is a brush with a heating surface, in Curling or Straighten iron. After the shower, my hair begged to either be diffused or blow-dried, and I rarely have time to blow-dry and stym my hair with two separate devices – a single blow-dry brush has become a regular hero.
Some of the most popular models in the blow-dry brush world include Dyson Airwrap ((8/10, recommended online), this Drybar double shotand Bondiboost Blowing Brushand why we are here today: the famous Revlon one-step quantizer plus. The One-Step Blow Dry Brush, originally launched in 2016, is the latest version, which arrives in 2021. In the field of expensive blow-drying brushes and hair styling tools, it is often touted as a more affordable option, especially since its price tag is so low compared to other options.
At such a cheap price, it does a great job on its premise. One step made my hair a huge blowout in a few minutes, especially my curtain bangs. It does give me a little less curl and polish than more expensive options like Drybar and Dyson, although even the best blow-dry brushes add a little frizz. Regardless, Revlon is easily the best bang for you if you buy a blow-dry brush on the market.

Single step is a very simple concept. It combines a round brush and a hair dryer into one device, allowing you to dry and style your hair at the same time. Since it’s a device, it’s easier to manage – I’ve never had the dexterity of managing both tools at the same time, let alone getting good results. But remember that because air passes through the center of the brush instead of on top of it, blow-drying the brush tends to make the frizzier even more frizzy and therefore blows the hair in multiple directions when used.
Revlon’s one-step measurement plus three heat settings, each with attached airflow levels, and a fourth “cool” setting. You can’t customize the air speed and heat, but that’s the case on more expensive models, so I won’t deal with one step too seriously. Most other blow-dry brushes have only one cool mode and two heat settings, so Revlon is more affordable, but it also offers heat levels than you find on dry brushes or even Dysons.
Revlon said the three heat settings in one step reached 200 to 260 degrees Fahrenheit, although Revlon could not confirm how hot a single level would be. This range is hotter than the others we tested. this Shark elastic style ((9/10, wired recommendation) For example, only reaching 230 degrees Fahrenheit T3 is airebrush From about 170 degrees to 214 degrees Fahrenheit. When I use Revarone, I find myself getting an extra frizz increase compared to a T3 or Dyson blow-dry brush, which gives me more damage than a more expensive brush.

Revlon recommends using one step on damp hair, rather than wet hair. Ivy & Luna Studio co-owner and hairstylist Alanna Safarik-Ashby (also known as @FollicleFatale) I am advised to wait 90% of my hair drying when using any blow dry brush for the safest results. Safarik-Ashby explains that using it on wet hair can cause greater damage because it pulls the hair in its most vulnerable situations.
